Questions
The practical questions people ask Élevé, answered by topic. These answers describe our club's arrangements; they do not establish the rules of other associations in Barcelona.

Send your details through the invitation form and include your planned visit date. Reception reviews the request before arranging an in-person visit. The form confirmation only tells you the request has been received.
Yes, Élevé considers enquiries from short-stay visitors aged 18 or over. A Barcelona residential address is not a condition of making an enquiry here. Acceptance still depends on the individual review and checks described in our tourist guide.
Élevé does not require a sponsor. If a member introduced you, you can mention that in your enquiry, but their membership cannot cover your admission. Apply in your own name and wait for your own reply.
You must be at least 18 and present an original, valid passport or national ID card. Driving licences, student cards and copies are unsuitable. For residence documents and less straightforward cases, see the requirements checklist.
The membership fee is €20 for 12 months from completed registration. Reception confirms your expiry date and the conditions before you agree. The website does not collect the membership fee.
The team aims to respond within one opening day. Check spam and the contact details you submitted. If 24 hours have passed, follow up on the original conversation with your name and enquiry date.
Yes. The invitation to attend is conditional on the in-person checks. Missing documents, an age mismatch or not agreeing to the membership conditions can prevent registration. Staff explain what can be resolved before another visit.
Ask reception to check your record and review your details. Renewal is completed in person, without automatic billing. If membership has expired, complete renewal before using the lounge again; see membership and renewal.

Use Carrer d'Aragó 189, 08011 Barcelona. Check the building number rather than relying on a broad neighbourhood pin. The contact page links to the location and explains how to reach reception.
First registrations finish at 23:00, while the lounge's regular closing time is 01:00. Arrange an arrival with time for the checks; send a message if delayed. Late-visit information distinguishes registration, last entry and closing.
An unregistered friend cannot enter the members' lounge as your guest. They must make their own enquiry and complete their own registration if accepted. A group arriving together does not have a shared membership.
There is a shallow threshold at the entrance and steps on the route to the toilets. We do not describe the whole venue as step-free. Contact reception with your access needs so the team can discuss the route and seating before you travel.
The reception team can assist in English and Spanish. Request English when you enquire if that is your preference. For forms or conditions you do not understand, ask for an explanation before agreeing.
Sunday follows the regular daily schedule. Public holidays may have exceptions, so confirm your specific date with the team. Our Sunday and holiday guide explains what to check beyond a general opening-hours label.

Access is personal, staff check membership and members respect one another's privacy. It does not mean that anyone can enter anonymously or bring unregistered companions. Read private access and privacy for the practical boundaries.
Do not photograph other members. Ask staff before photographing an empty interior and stop if someone enters the frame. Use headphones for audio; keep calls short and quiet or ask staff where you can step aside.
No outside food or drink is permitted in the lounge. If you need an exception for a personal access requirement, discuss it with reception before your visit. Keep bags and belongings out of the paths between seats.
A membership decision is not legal advice or a guarantee about any particular activity. Our how clubs work guide distinguishes club procedure from legal context and links to primary sources. Seek qualified advice for your own legal circumstances.
